A brief explanation

For those of you who are new to this publication, it is an archive of quotes which I have liberally collected over the years. These are not quotes from famous people, but rather from friends, family and those people I have come across in my everyday life. I consider these quotes not only amusing or insightful in and of themselves, but for me, they have often proven to be a snapshot of a moment. Amazing the things people will say.

 

(I have also taken the liberty of creating pseudonyms for those quoted. To protect the innocent, and not so innocent.)

 

Art

Some of the earliest editions contained cover art generously donated by various sources, including Mark Herynk for edition 1, and Janette Salisbury for edition 3. Editions 5 and beyond all include cover art produced by myself.)

The Words Once Spoken series has moved comprehensively to online publication. Please see the search methods above to filter by quote keywords, favorite Speakers (those quoted), by edition, or view all quotes collected. This works well for those who just want to see the goods and be done with it.

 

For those who want a more decorous self-printed copy, newer editions are included below in static Adobe Acrobat PDF format. I leave it to you to provide the printer ink. (The suits told me I had to trim those costs someday!)
