After
Holland, I went back to hometown Campinas, back to my parents home. Stood
there for 6 months studying and went to college (FAAP) in São Paulo
where I started my degree in advertising. Six months later, began the
course again at ESPM (Advertising & Marketing), still in São
Paulo. For two years I've worked at the college's studio (audio post production)
where I've learned the basis to take bigger steps in the future. Since
the guys didn't want to give me a scholarship, I've left the studio, to
try working in an advertising agency at the RTVC (Radio, TV, Cinema) department.
Didn't last more than a month...
But a great opportunity came up and I've started a 5 year journey in
one of the best audio/video post-production studios in Brazil. Began as
a trainee, left as one of the owners... Done jobs for the record industry
(DVD, CDs, Video clips) and jobs related to the government, keeping brazilian
musical history alive. I've restored and re-mastered about 500 old multi-
track
tapes for one of the greatest record companies in Brazil, and about 60.000
old 78 RPM discs for museums and private collections. Besides that, I've
mixed, mastered and authored about 40 musical DVDs for the best artists
(Gilberto Gil, Lulu Santos, Los Hermanos, Ira!... Have you ever heard
of them? What about "The Mission"?? Yeah... Worked with Wayne
Hussey last year too... Awesome!) and also recorded a few live concerts.
But as life goes... And I've left it all to work on an internet/network marketing enterprise (online shops for Small & Medium Business). I've been working with them since August last year but they aren't so well prepared as I thought and don't think on spending money on development or communications... I feel kind of frustrated. And I'm looking for an other job and want to keep both things working, music & internet.
In mid 2000 started a relationship with Silvia. We moved together in early 2001 and were blessed with Arthur in June 2002. Arthur is now 7 years old and is a quite smart boy.
Silvia and I have had tough moments and stayed apart from each other for almosta an year. In August 2007 moved back together and now we´re getting ready to actually marry on October 17th.
