Chris van Ruiten

March 2005: Well, lessee. After coming home to California, my family moved almost immediately after I got back so I finished out my less-than-spectacular high school career and decided that New Mexico sounded like as good a place as any to continue my education. Very long story short, I was nowhere near ready to settle back down to that, so after four years there and nothing to show for it but six different majors and about two years worth of credits, I came back to Sacramento. I basically started college over and in December 2004 the good folks at CSU Sacramento decided that they has gotten enough of my money to give me a degree in Government/Journalism. Working at Target those four years (yeah, like any of you ever seriously though I WOULDN'T sell out to The Man) paid the bills, and is still paying them until I find one of those "real jobs" every seems so fond of. I've found and lost loves with some regularity, discovered exactly why long distance relationships are so tough, and am currently single. While I still love the Golden State (and our...gag...governator) I'm feeling that old wanderlust coming back, so who knows what might happen in the next few months.

December 2004: Hey...got this address (indirectly) from Jamie Eilers (or the entity formerly known as Eilers...it's something else that I can't quite remember and don't feel like backtracking to right at the moment) and just thought I'd drop you a line to thank you for putting up your page...got a kick out of seeing some of the old (much older than I remember...has it really been ten f'n years?) faces. Anyway, I'm parenthesis'd out, so I'll sign off...let me know if something more comes out of this page as far as reunions etc.

tot stracks...
