Adriana Martins Basso
I wanted to study international relations but no course was available in the city so I decided to study international trade.
I was trainee of the Dutch-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and after that I worked for the KPMG Group as auditor and consultant, specially on M&A and fraud investigations. But my plans of entering the Ministry of Foreign Relations were still in my mind so I stopped with everything I was doing, finished the University course and got out of KPMG to study.
It was a great and pleasant time dedicating myself on studies. I learned
a lot, the whole day, but I could not pass all the exams. This preparatory
course does not provide any title so I started the specialization course
also on
My contract endend on January 2004 and I started searching for a position. I also planned my own consulting company (maybe to be founded in the near future!!), but I soon was contacted by a trading company to whom I am working since April, 2004, importing paper and analysing new opportunities in the sector. It is a sudsidiary of the Central National Gottesman Inc., an American Group.
Spite working I do indoor climbing ( in a Gymnasium in SPaulo) and I practice kung fu.
I also started Mandarim lessons and I have been studing Antrophosophy for about 3 years.
Following my mystic way of life I also do numerology analysis linked with other philosophies.
I still did not get married and I do not have children, only my dear niece called Giovanna, daughter of my oldest sister, Juliana who lives in Brasilia. I live in Sao Paulo with one of my two sisters, Fernanda. She was also an exchange student, in 1994, but in Denmark.
